Glen Case BA, MST, CPO
American
Board Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist, Glen Case earned
his dual certifications from Northwestern University in Chicago,
Illinois. He concurrently holds a Master's Degree in Teaching
from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree
of Arts from Geneseo State University. He presently is the
President for the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics
of New York State. Prior to establishing Clinical Prosthetics
and Orthotics LLC., he resided in the southwestern region
of the United States where he held a facility position of
Clinical Director for Orthotics in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Glen's clinical expertise with Orthotics and Prosthetics
has been in the area of pediatrics, but he enjoys working
with all age groups. He spends his free time training and
competing in Nordic ski racing as well as pursuing his various
artistic interests.
Dennis E. Ebbing, BSME, MBA, CPO
Originally
from Fayetteville, NY, Dennis is an American Board Certified
Prosthetist Orthotist (C.P.O.). He earned his prosthetic
degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, orthotics
degree from Newington (University of Connecticut), and completed
a residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dennis
also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Buffalo. He worked as a design engineer
for United Technologies Carrier Corporation before returning
to Virginia Polytechnic and State University to obtain his
Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.). In the fall
of 2001, Dennis opened the Clinical Prosthetics & Orthotics
office in Poughkeepsie, New York. Dennis has published gait
research as it relates to lower extremity biomechanics. He
conducts volunteer work in Mexico as a clinical prosthetist
and spends his free time skiing, bicycling, running, and
competitive sailing on the Hudson River.
David B. Misener, BSc, CPO, MBA
David is an American Board Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist.
Originally from Guelph, Ontario, he received his Bachelor
of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph.
He then went onto post-graduate work in Orthotics and Prosthetics
at George Brown College, Toronto, Ontario. In 1994, David
moved to Syracuse, NY to complete his residency in both prosthetics
and orthotics. In 1997 and 1998 David was appointed to a
National Prosthetic Team to teach and promote modern alternatives
of prosthetic designs to practitioners throughout the country.
Since then he has continued his education and has completed
his Masters in Business Administration. David has been practicing
in Albany, NY, since 1998. In January 2001 he established
Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics, LLC with his partners.
Currently he practices in the Albany, Saratoga and Hudson
offices. David’s free time is spent enjoying his wife
Elizabeth and sons Ethan and Spencer.
Scott Burton, RPT, CPO
Scott
is originally from Fort Worth, Texas and Came to New York
in 1989. He began his career as a technician and was certified
by the American Board for Certification in 1994. During his
ten years in this position he studied at various facilities
around the country as well as supervised all fabrication
of orthotic and prosthetic devices for a Hudson valley lab.
The desire to expand his knowledge of the field and broaden
his abilities motivated him to become a certified practitioner
in 1998. He oversaw all aspects of prosthetic and orthotic
patient care at a local facility from 2001 until June 2007
when he joined Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics. Scott
works in the Poughkeepsie and Kingston office locations and
in his free time he enjoys hiking with his wife, Beth, and
their dogs, reading and experiencing music.
